About The Position

Job Title : Occupational Therapist

Location : Wausau, WI 54401

Contract Length : 13 weeks

Shift : Monday to Friday, 8-hour days (40 hours / week)

Job Summary :

Hiring for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join their inpatient hospital team for a 13-week contract. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience working with adult / geriatric patients presenting orthopedic, neurological, and functional mobility diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide occupational therapy services to adult and geriatric inpatient populations.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.

Maintain accurate documentation and charting, preferably using EPIC.

Adapt and manage changing clinical environments with resilience and professionalism.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy required.

Minimum 2 years inpatient hospital experience preferred.

WI State OT License and BLS certification required.

NIH Stroke certification preferred.

Strong skills in managing orthopedic, neurological, and functional mobility cases.

Prior experience with electronic health records (EPIC preferred).

Travel experience strongly preferred.

Hardworking, resilient, adaptable, and strong interpersonal skills.
