Position Overview
The Food Runner plays a vital role in ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining service. Working closely with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff, the Food Runner is responsible for delivering food to tables quickly and accurately, maintaining food presentation standards, and creating a seamless guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverages promptly from the kitchen to guests’ tables.
- Ensure all orders are correct, well-presented, and served with appropriate condiments or utensils.
- Assist servers by checking in with guests to see if additional items are needed.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and service team to ensure smooth workflow.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of expo line, service stations, and dining areas.
- Assist with resetting tables and supporting the front-of-house team during peak times.
- Provide a friendly, energetic presence that enhances the guest experience.
