Preventive Medicine Physician

Adelphi is seeking Board-Certified / Board-Eligible Primary Care Physicians to provide comprehensive medical services at multiple health centers in San Bernardino County. The ideal physician will be responsible for delivering adult and pediatric primary care, preventive health services, chronic disease management, and reproductive health care in a patient-centered, community health setting. • MD or DO degree with successful completion of a Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Preventive Medicine residency
• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM), American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM), or equivalent
• Valid California Medical License (or ability to obtain before start date)
• DEA License and current BLS / ACLS certification
• Experience in primary care, reproductive health, and chronic disease management
• Knowledge of LARC (Long-Acting Reversible Contraception), colposcopy, anoscopy, and wound care (preferred)
• At least one year of experience in an underserved, community health, or FQHC setting (preferred)
• Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills Responsibilities :
• Provide high-quality, patient-centered primary care, including preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and acute care
• Conduct health screenings, physical exams, immunizations, and diagnostic evaluations
• Perform refugee / asylee health assessments in compliance with state guidelines
• Work collaboratively with mid-level practitioners (Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants) and provide clinical oversight
• Participate in telehealth visits as needed
• Utilize an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system for documentation and patient management
• Coordinate whole-person care, including behavioral health, dental, and social services
• Supervise and train medical residents or students if applicable
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer reviews, and performance evaluations
• Assist in developing and implementing clinic policies and procedures
• Collaborate with hospital partners for referrals and continuity of care
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including FQHC & HRSA requirements
• Maintain productivity standards, typically 18-20 patients per 8-hour shift (as per contract expectations)
