Summary Description:
Cut and assemble parts and overlays for Therma Classic door sections.
Essential Duties:
- Verify production needs by reviewing work orders and production schedule.
- Route decorative design
- Use paint pen to touch-up the paint as needed
- Check product to verify it meets quality assurance standards
- Move completed section to pallet with assistance
Essential Job Skills and Experience:
Education/experience: Any combination of education providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. Typical qualifications would be:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1 year of specific or transferrable experience preferred
Skills/Knowledge Required:
Must be able to read a tape measure accurately
- Able to lift 50-75 lbs. safely
- Able to stand for extended periods of time (10-12 hour days)
- Good hand-eye coordination
Physical Environment/Working Conditions:
This position is in our manufacturing plant. It will involve standing, walking and lifting for long periods of time throughout the day. The plant is not climate controlled and will require the employee to dress appropriately. Noise levels can become high, so NWD provides and requires hearing protection in the department.
