Hours per Week : 36

Shifts : 12-hour rotating shifts (11a-11p, 3p-3a, 7p-7a)

Estimated Weekly Pay : $2010 - $2150

Employment Type : Travel Registered Nurse

On-Site Position

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (must apply for Vermont RN license upon acceptance)

Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience

Prior travel nursing experience required

Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and AVADE or another nationally recognized de-escalation certification (Pro-Act, CPI, MOAB, etc.)

Cerner EMR experience preferred

Must have own vehicle (no public transportation available)

Biweekly orientation provided

Complete work history required; must account for any employment gaps over 30 days

Local candidates not eligible for this Vermont nursing job

ER RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department

Utilize critical thinking and advanced clinical skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Cerner EMR

Participate in de-escalation and crisis intervention as needed

Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards

Engage in ongoing professional development and orientation activities
