They are in search of a Vice President of Inventory and Rental Operations to play a pivotal role in the financial and operational performance of the business. The successful candidate will be a visionary and operationally focused leader, responsible for developing and implementing inventory strategies, managing the equipment lifecycle, and ensuring that inventory and rental metrics align with business goals. This role demands a data-driven individual with a strong background in dealership operations, particularly in equipment inventory management, and the ability to drive performance across multiple departments and locations.
Key responsibilities for the Vice President include overseeing all equipment purchases, rentals, and inventory, managing the used equipment department, and leading company-wide rental operations. The role also involves developing and monitoring rental metrics, establishing inventory reporting and controls, and ensuring compliance with rental procedures. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, a minimum of 10 years' of management experience in inventory, rental, or equipment operations, and a proven track record in a construction equipment dealership. Strong business acumen, the ability to analyze financial data, and experience in P&L management are essential. A strategic mindset with a focus on operational execution and the ability to implement standardized policies and procedures are also required.
