Key Job Details - Dallas ICU RN Travel Position Location : Dallas, TX 75230 (Texas nursing jobs) Unit : Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) Assignment Length : 13 weeks Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM) Hours per Week : 36 Start Date : October 28, 2025 End Date : January 27, 2026 Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1360 - $1460 On-Site Position ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Texas RN license (no temporary licenses) Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience BLS and ACLS certifications required Experience with CRRT, hypothermia protocol, and Meditech preferred CCRN certification preferred Experience caring for surgical and oncology patient populations Professional appearance : Royal blue scrubs required; clean and healthy nails (no artificial nails); neat hair (pulled back if shoulder length or longer); visible piercings (other than ears) and extreme hair styles / colors not permitted; tattoos should be covered when possible ICU RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality critical care nursing to patients in a 16-bed SICU Manage patient assignments based on acuity and skill set (1 : 2 nurse-to-patient ratio) Operate and monitor ICU equipment : ventilators, NXStage, Arctic Sun, GE Cardiac Output monitors Assist with bedside procedures : central line placements, thoracentesis, dialysis, cath placements, cardioversions, intubations Document patient care using Meditech EMR Float to other critical care units as needed Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care Adhere to hospital and unit-specific policies, including attendance and dress code guidelines Apply now to join our Dallas healthcare team and take the next step in your ICU nursing career!
