The pediatric intensive care unit consists of 32-beds with an average daily census of 19.

1200 admissions per year with a nearly 50 / 50 split medical and surgical patients, we care for the full spectrum of severely ill and injured children in a multi-disciplinary approach.

The current critical care coverage model consists of two daytime teams, 8 FTE Board-certified / eligible pediatric intensivists with 24 / 7 in-house coverage, and 5 APPs who help days and nights.
