Travel Nursing Job Details Location : Maryville, Tennessee 37804 – Tennessee nursing jobs Healthcare Setting : Medical Telemetry – Step-down from ICU (no vents or pressor support) Contract Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN) assignment Start Date : November 17, 2025 End Date : February 16, 2026 Duration : 13-week contract Shift : Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (18 : 45 - 07 : 15) Hours per Week : 36 Patient Ratio : 1 : 6 Unit : Medical Telemetry 4 South Orientation : 24 hours Estimated Weekly Salary : $1650-$1770 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Tennessee or compact state Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg Telemetry nursing experience 1 year of experience with Epic EMR required Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Experience with ER holding and telemetry monitoring Flu vaccine required (no exemptions) Ability to float to other medical / surgical units as needed Preferred : Community hospital experience Med / Surg Tele RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult patients with higher oxygen demands, dialysis needs, atrial fibrillation, and post-cardiac procedures Monitor and manage cardiac drips (heparin, cardizem, amiodarone), initiate sotalol, and interpret cardiac dysrhythmias Perform blood product administration, central line care, chest tube management, and wound care Utilize Epic EMR for accurate documentation and patient management Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, PT, RT, pharmacy, and rapid response Float to other qualified med / surg units as needed to support patient care Complete pre-assignment testing and required modules prior to start Join our healthcare team in Maryville, Tennessee and experience a rewarding travel nursing job in a supportive, community-focused hospital.
