Scope

Works closely with the Supervisors and Team Leads in Assembly to move equipment and prep units for shipment. Analyzes the drawings from Engineering and verifies correct height dimensions and weight for shipment. Operates a crane and forklift when loading units onto trucks.

Essential Functions

• Reviews blueprints
• Communicates with Supervisors, Team Leads, Quality and Engineering
• Verifies height dimensions of units
• Responsible for the rigging, wrapping, crating, and movement of the units onto the trucks for shipment
• Maintain work areas in a clean and orderly condition
• Consistently operate in keeping with all safety rules and requirements
• Participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems, and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, and policies
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

Physical Requirements

Medium Work : Exerting up to 60 pounds of force occasionally and / or up to 40 pounds of force frequently, and / or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as : preparing and analyzing data, viewing computer terminal, expansive reading, etc. The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions. DOT Physical required.

Hours Of Work

Standard work schedules plus overtime and weekend hours will be required to meet production demands.
