Warehouse Associate

• This is a Work Experience position available through Employ NV Youth Hub. All candidates will be considered after program eligibility is determined

The primary purpose of the Warehouse Associate is to load / unload tires, stack tires, deliver and / or pick up tires and other parts throughout Las Vegas and surrounding areas; a company vehicle is provided. Warehouse Associates should be comfortable driving large vehicles such as flat bed and box trucks; CDL is not required.

Essential Duties :

Heavy lifting is required : Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs consistently, and up to 100 lbs occasionally.

Pulling orders; attention to detail is a must.

Loading and stacking tires; although heavy lifting is required, specialized equipment is provided.

Unloading tires; although heavy lifting is required, specialized equipment is provided.

Must keep warehouse neat and tidy at all times.

Must follow and adhere to all OSHA and company safety standards, and ensure the parts department is run in a safe and efficient manner in compliance with Ted Wiens' company policies, procedures and "Quality Standards".

Must be able to communicate with all company staff and work effectively with management, co-workers and outside vendors. Maintain a professional and courteous attitude at all times.

Keep parts department organized and clean, including but not limited to parts inventory and storage, employee safety equipment, labeling and storage of hazardous materials.

Any and all other duties as assigned by management.
