You will interact with team members within Wabtec across all levels of the organization.

You will be responsible for strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will procure raw materials, finished goods, equipment, and supplies, while meeting goals for cost management and supplier management including supplier diversity, and process improvements.

What do we want to know about you?

• Do you have knowledge of Material Resource Planning (MRP) and best practices in high mix manufacturing?
• Do you have a bachelor's degree in Business, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management or a related field and 3 years purchasing and / or supply chain experience or equivalent combination of education and experience?
• Do you have time management & prioritization skills?
• Are you proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)?
• Do you have the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications?
• Do you possess a working knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley and internal controls as it relates to purchasing and sourcing?
• Are you a highly organized individual capable of managing multiple projects?
• Oracle, Coupa Procure to Pay and HICX Supplier Onboarding experience preferred. Purchasing Certification or CPM as issued by the Institute of Supply Management preferred.
• Do you have experience with Power BI?
• Do you possess excellent verbal and written communication skills required to include the ability to provide written and verbal instructions, compile, and present business reports / correspondence, and present information clearly?
• Do you have analytical and reasoning ability, math skills, and good judgment for critical business decisions?
• Do you have a keen attention to detail and quality orientation?
• Do you have the ability to cooperate and the interpersonal skills to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment?
• Are you motivated to provide excellent internal and external customer service?
• Are you committed to conducting yourself in a manner to promote the core values of the corporation in a professional and ethical manner?
• 10% percent travel or as needed.

What will your typical day look like?

You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary. This is not a remote role. The salary for this role is in the range of $67,400 - $96,000 annually. The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as : training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location.
