Intern - Finance

MCA, your trusted advisor for wireless communications, data, and security, is seeking an experienced Finance Intern in Spartanburg, SC (remote) to support our growing Central team.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING :

Assist in analyzing financial data and creating financial models for decision-making.

Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Conduct variance analysis to compare actual performance with budgets and forecasts.

Assist in processing invoices, expense reports, and other financial transactions.

Participate in reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies.

Help maintain accurate financial records in compliance with company policies and regulations.

Collaborate with the finance team in preparing budgets and forecasts.

Monitor expenses and track budget utilization across departments.

Support data collection, organization, and analysis to drive insights for business decisions.

Assist in maintaining and improving financial systems and databases.

Participate in cross-functional initiatives and finance-related projects.

Provide support for internal and external audits as needed.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM :

Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
