Supervisory Medical Support Assistant

The Supervisory Medical Support Assistant plans and directs programs at medical center and / or satellite outpatient clinics and has full supervisory responsibility. They assign work and evaluate work of subordinate MSA staff. Some responsibilities include : resolving complex problems to ensure patient services are met, make recommendations for improved clinic operations; identify educational or training needs, make hiring selections, evaluate performance and take disciplinary action.
