Sandstone Healthcare Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Admissions Coordinator to join our corporate office team. This role serves as a central point of coordination for admissions activity across our network of skilled nursing and long-term care facilities. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Schedule
Monday–Friday | 8 : 30 AM–5 : 30 PM
Some weekends required
Key Responsibilities
Support and monitor facility admissions activity across multiple locations.
Coordinate with facility admission teams, hospital liaisons, and referral sources to ensure timely and accurate placement of residents.
Review and verify admissions documentation for completeness and compliance.
Track census trends, referrals, and admission metrics to support corporate reporting and strategy.
Communicate effectively with internal departments including clinical, billing, and operations to facilitate smooth transitions.
Assist with weekend admissions coverage rotation as needed.
Qualifications
Prior experience in healthcare admissions, patient intake, or related administrative coordination preferred.
Strong analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort navigating digital systems.
Ability to maintain professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail in all interactions.
