$30- $40 / hr

Responsibilities as Registered Dietitian :

• Assist the food services staff in the development and use of departmental procedures governing food service activities, equipment, supplies etc.
• Review and develop a plan of correction for any food service deficiencies noted during state / federal survey and provide written copy of such plan to the Administrator for approval
• Maintain an ongoing quality assurance program for the Food Services Department
• Review dietary requirements and / or restrictions of admitted patients in accordance with attending physician's diet plans
• Assist the Discharge Planning Coordinator in planning the food services portion of the resident's discharge plan
• Assist in developing diet plans for individual residents and planning regular and specialized diets as prescribed by attending physician
