Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist with 2 years of inpatient acute experience and MBSS certification for a critical need assignment in Honolulu, HI.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in an inpatient acute care setting
  • Part-time schedule totaling 20 hours per week : Monday (7 hours), Tuesday (6 hours), and Friday (7 hours)
  • Day shifts from 8 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM
  • Uses Epic for electronic medical records
  • Provide speech, language, and swallowing assessments and interventions for inpatient acute care patients
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Must comply with institutional policy regarding maximum assignment duration
  • Both local and travel candidates accepted at the same rate

  • Active Speech Language Pathologist license required if applicable
  • At least 2 years of inpatient acute care experience required
  • MBSS (Modified Barium Swallow Study) certification required
  • All licenses and certifications must be current and active at the time of consideration
  • Last four digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration
