Senior Accountant / Assistant Controller

This is a newly created position that will report directly to the Controller.

Responsibilities :

• Supervising accountant for all functions including : accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and cash management
• Assembling timely and accurate financial reporting packages for development projects, operating assets and corporate entities
• Work with other departments (construction / leasing / management) to help integrate the finance team across the organization
• Coordinate and assist in the preparation of all internal and external (partners / lenders) reporting requirements
• Consolidate project invoices by development and package monthly draw requests
• Assist in the gathering / coordination of annual tax filings
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work flow and responsibilities
