Lead power electronics engineer

We are currently recruiting for a lead power electronics engineer to work on an aerospace project in Reston, Virginia.

This role would suit a senior power electronics engineer with 8+ years of experience, who wants to stay hands on in their next role, but also absorb some additional responsibility, such running projects and mentoring junior of staff.

The base salary for this role is in the range of $200k – $250k, dependent on experience, with bonus and comprehensive benefits package on top.

You will be :

• Designing power electronics products from concept to production
• Working on switchmode power supplies
• Laying out PCBs in Altium
• Using SPICE to run circuit simulations
• Designing products for extreme environments
• Carrying out environmental testing
