About the Job

Sanofi is recruiting a new Global Medical Senior Director for Prurigo Nodularis & related diseases. In this role you will collaborate with the Medical Directors across the Sanofi Regeneron alliance to develop and execute the Global Medical tactical plan for dupilumab in Prurigo Nodularis including congress symposia planning, content development and execution, internal education, insights gathering, medical education, and ensuring launch readiness globally. Specific tactical support includes KOL engagement at advisory boards, review of disease and product specific material, support cross functional activities, congress planning and execution

Our Medical Affairs function serves as a key strategic partner with commercial, regulatory, clinical, and market access on therapeutic solutions to support patients' needs. Within the Dermatology Medical Affairs team, we are proud to support Sanofi's deep commitment and investment in treating diseases driven by type 2 inflammation in support of our patients. Dupilumab has transformed management of Atopic Dermatitis and now as the first and only approved advanced therapy for Prurigo Nodularis (PN).

Main Responsibilities

Lead affiliate PN KOL identification and mapping

Lead the development and execution of KOL engagement programs (advisory boards, KOL scientific exchange) to understand the evolving PN medical landscape and optimize the Global Medical strategy

Lead the development and execution of symposia at medical congresses, medical booth development and review of medical scientific content across the dermatology indications.

Support the development and communication of the Global Medical evidence generation strategy to address prioritized PN evidence gaps; provide operational support for Phase 4 studies in PN.

Partner with the Scientific Communication team to ensure up-to-date educational material and timely launch activities are provided to the affiliates.

Contribute to the review of PN materials related to medical information, independent medical education, Type2, cross dermatology, and strategic alignment workstreams strategic materials and across stakeholders including but not limited to marketing, HEVA, market access, communications and public affairs

Provide guidance and direction to third party agencies who support our global tactical activities and ensure that scientific communication content (internal and external) is aligned with the Global Medical and Brand Strategy.

Coordinate the planning, content development, and execution of training related to PN disease state, diagnosis, clinical data and competitive readiness.

Maintain knowledge of PN market landscape, stay current on leading edge products development efforts and provide perspective to the business on the treatment landscape

Interact with internal functions (legal, regulatory, logistics, Medical Review Committee) and external providers to ensure planning and execution of Global Medical PN tactics according to defined timelines and budget

About You

Education

Advanced degree in a scientific discipline (M.D., PhD or PharmD)

Experience

5+ years of experience in medical affairs preferably in larger markets. Dermatology and immunology expertise in medical affairs highly desired

Demonstrated ability to work effectively an international company with a complex matrix organizational environment

Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams (i.e., medical, global brand teams, market research, sales, managed markets, sales operations, business development, regulatory, research & development) as well as with regional and / or affiliate medical teams

Implement a strong partnership with local cross functional team, global & regional medical for appropriate communications strategy, KOL development and best practice sharing

Develop strong relationships with international KOLs and maintain a customer focused centricity

Skills and behaviors
