Universal Banker Position

Merchants Bank, Hastings, is seeking a Universal Banker. This position will work at the Hastings branch, however, will provide occasional back-up at nearby branches. This full-time position will be 32-40 hours / week. Hours will vary between 7 : 45am-5 : 15pm Monday Friday with a Saturday morning rotation from 8 : 45am-12 : 15pm. Duties include serving customers by processing various banking and financial transactions, account inquiries, and opening new deposit account relationships. You will provide exceptional customer service and proactively offer a range of banking products and services to meet the financial needs of our customers. Must have strong communication skills, comfortable with extensive customer contact, have sales experience, and a strong ability to multi-task and prioritize. Customer service and cash handling experience required and banking experience is a plus.
