Travel Nursing Job Details

Position : Registered Nurse – Medical / Surgical (Med / Surg RN)

Assignment Type : Travel Nursing Contract

Location : Du Bois, PA 15801 (Pennsylvania healthcare jobs)

Unit : GMS3 – Medical / Surgical Unit

Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM), 3 shifts per week

Weekly Hours : 36

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 24 / 2025, End : 2 / 23 / 2026)

Patient Ratios : Nights 1 : 6, up to 1 : 8 with LPN support

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1570 - $1610

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania or compact state (PA RN license required)

Minimum 1 year of recent Medical / Surgical RN experience

Ability to complete Pennsylvania fingerprinting and Childline process promptly upon contract signing

Willingness to complete required lab work within 72 hours of signing contract

Travel nurses must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (no local candidates accepted)

First-time travel nurses are encouraged to apply

Med / Surg RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients on a busy Medical / Surgical unit

Collaborate with LPNs and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes

Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment

Administer medications, perform clinical treatments, and deliver patient education

Maintain accurate and timely charting and electronic documentation

Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations
