What You'll Do

As a Project Safety Coordinator, you'll be the on-site safety leader working directly with crews, foremen, and project managers to ensure every job is done safely and efficiently.

You'll be responsible for :

• Leading and reinforcing Irby's culture of Ownership of Safety
• Coaching crews to identify and correct hazards in real time
• Integrating safety planning into daily operations from pre-construction through completion
• Supporting safe execution of transmission activities, including : structure erection, wire stringing, rigging, energized line work, grounding, and heavy equipment operations and more
• Leading tailgate talks, site meetings, and on-the-job training
• Managing incident investigations, reporting, and corrective actions
• Ensuring OSHA compliance, audits, and documentation
• Driving continuous improvement and proactive risk management
• Lead safety on major transmission projects across Florida
