Board Certified - Neonatal Physician Assistant

Job Details :

• Full-time Physician Assistant position with neonatology fellowship training
• Provide direct and indirect patient care to neonates in Level III and Level II NICUs
• Work between two facilities : Grand Rapids (Level III NICU) and Muskegon (Level II Special Care Nursery)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams including physicians, nurses, and therapists
• Participate in teaching and mentoring of junior providers and trainees
• Document patient care and clinical activities in Epic EMR
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research as needed
• Support community health programs related to neonatal care
• Maintain up-to-date licensure and certifications
• Must have relevant clinical experience (highly preferred)
• Board certification in specialty prior to employment is required with fellowship
• Active Michigan license required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Active DEA required
• Varied shifts including weekends (25-hour shifts spread over annual schedule)
• No call requirements for APPs
