Security Officer - Mall Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Mall Patrol Driver in Roseville, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic retail location, where your primary responsibilities include routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents and provide a visible presence throughout the premises. You will engage with visitors and tenants, offering exceptional customer service and clear communication while addressing any security-related concerns. Job Schedule : DayTimeMon 02 : 30 PM - 11 : 00 PM Thur 02 : 30 PM - 11 : 00 PM Fri 02 : 30 PM - 11 : 00 PM Sat 02 : 30 PM - 11 : 00 PM Sun 02 : 30 PM - 11 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities within the retail or mall environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall property, including interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activities and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter theft, disorderly conduct, and / or other security-related incidents.
  • Assist visitors, tenants, and employees by providing directions and responding to inquiries as needed.
  • Work closely with Allied Universal management, law enforcement, and / or emergency responders in the event of an incident at the location.
  • Document incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A current guard card or license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
