Summary
The Payroll Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, auditing, and compliance across the organization. This role requires strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and a proactive approach to improving payroll operations.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with payroll regulations
- Process and record payroll data accurately and timely using Dayforce
- Collaborate with HR to verify payroll data integrity for new hires, terminations, and pay changes
- Generate and analyze payroll reports to identify trends or discrepancies
- Administer and report ACA requirements
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies
- Maintain PTO and time-off accrual databases
- Deliver exceptional customer service to employees, managers, and agencies
- Identify and recommend process improvements
Qualifications and Skills
5+ years of payroll processing experienceExperience with HRIS systems such as Dayforce, Kronos, or ADP WFNStrong knowledge of FLSA regulationsProficiency in Microsoft ExcelAbility to work independently and collaborativelySalary
$36–$42 per hour
