PLC / Controls Engineer

Selectek is seeking a talented PLC / Controls Engineer to develop, program, and debug PLC programs and HMIs for a company that specializes in custom automation and test systems. You'll play a key role in taking projects from concept to completion, working alongside program managers, mechanical designers, and the manufacturing team.

In this role, you'll be responsible for :

Programming complex multi-station assembly and test systems

Writing efficient PLC and HMI code

Configuring SCADA systems

Applying your knowledge of motion control

Utilizing PanelView Plus and PanelBuilder 32 software

Establishing network connections

To be successful, you'll need :

A solid understanding of mechatronic systems and components

Mechanical aptitude and a strong work ethic

Proven experience with Allen Bradley RSLogix 5000 (Siemens experience a plus)

Familiarity with Ethernet IP communication protocols

Knowledge of step and state logic

A willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally (Fanuc & ABB robot programming experience a plus)
