RN Colleague Health Nurse
As part of the Goshen Health Human Resources department, the Colleague Health Nurse coordinates Colleague Health Programs, including the following :
- Represents Colleague Health Programs on various hospital-wide committees.
- Administers pre-employment health screenings, including vaccination status, tuberculosis status, and allergy information.
- Administers annual flu immunizations for Colleagues, physicians, and board members.
- Administers annual TB testing for all colleagues and physicians.
- Oversees management of Colleague injuries.
- Oversees management of workers’ compensation program related to incident reporting, documentation, and follow up.
- Maintains Colleague health files
- Collaborates with directors, managers, and supervisors regarding Colleague incidents, work restrictions, and return to work procedures
- Reports communicable diseases, as related to Colleagues, to the appropriate health departments.
- Oversees management of blood / bodily fluid exposures of Colleagues and physicians.
- Conducts follow up with Colleagues for appropriate testing in the event of a communicable disease exposure.
- Coordinates annual lab screenings and physicals for appropriate departments.
- Directs payables related to Colleague health appropriately.
- Coordinates and conducts Colleague inservices.
- Coordinates and conducts a portion of new Colleague general orientation related to employee health.
- Collaborates with pharmacy for appropriate Colleague medications.
- Coordinates ergonomics program.
- Conducts appropriate tracking and reporting of statistics related to Colleague health.
- Maintains Colleague health policies and procedures
- Applies and follows employee health related guidelines as directed by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Joint Commission for Accreditation of Hospital Organizations, and the Center for Disease Control.
- Maintains inventory of appropriate medical supplies through coordination with Materials Management and Pharmacy.

Position Qualifications
Minimum Education : Registered nurse with a valid Indiana State license. Computer skills required. BSN required.Minimum Experience : Requires two years hospital clinical nursing experience.
