POSITION SUMMARY / RESPONSIBILITIES

EDUCATION
Ideal candidates should be Registered Professional Nurses with advanced nursing practice training from an accredited program recognized by the Board of Nurse Examiners. A Master's degree in nursing is highly preferred. Candidates must have at least three years of nursing experience, with two years in an advanced practice role being beneficial. Certification from a national nursing organization is highly recommended, and a current CPR Healthcare Provider card or higher is mandatory as per Medical-Dental Staff Bylaws.
LICENSURE
Candidates must hold an active Registered Nurse license in Texas and be credentialed by the State for practice as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner. Prescriptive authority is also preferred.
