We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens assignment in Montana. This role is situated in a critical access hospital, emphasizing a manageable workload with a daily census around 4 and a 24-hour ER averaging 10 patients per day. The ideal candidate will possess experience in emergency medicine or hospitalist roles, with additional capability in family practice or internal medicine due to the facility's unique requirements.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive emergency medical care and oversee hospitalist duties.
  • Manage a low-volume patient flow effectively, ensuring quality care and efficient patient processing.
  • Work closely with nursing staff and other medical professionals in a centralized workstation environment.
  • Navigate seamlessly between the emergency department and inpatient wing as needed.
  • Utilize the Epic EMR system to document patient interactions and manage care.
