Overview

We are seeking an experienced Non-Metallic Engineering Specialist to join our team at Global Manufacturing Excellence (GME) under the Reliability Solutions Department (RSD).

The Reliability Solutions Department (RSD) provides engineering support to Saudi Aramco Global Manufacturing wholly owned and affiliates' facilities (Refining, NGL Processing, and Petrochemicals).

Your primary role as a Non-metallic Specialist Engineer is to provide technical support pertaining the application, deployment, health assessment and repair methodologies for non-metallic materials to Global Manufacturing operating facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop procedures and train manpower to perform comprehensive inspection of non-metallic equipment.
• Perform comprehensive integrity assessments, failure investigations and provide recommendations to maintain or enhance the equipment integrity for continuous and uninterrupted production.
• Scout, introduce and support deployment non-metallic products in various applications in a cost-effective manner.
• Develop & update existing standards, procedures and best practices related to non-metallic applications.
• Develop, introduce and / or deploy viable non-metallic inspection technologies.
• Support failure investigations and produce lessons learned from RCAs to avoid reoccurrence.
• Provide, review and approve recommended solutions for coating failures and composite applications.
• Review design packages and validate materials selection based on current code and standards.
• Keeps current with significant developments in non-metallic applications.
• Participate in value engineering sessions for non-metallic products.
