Job Description
Join our team as a Quality Control Technician and play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our products. You will be responsible for testing finished products and components, conducting process checks, and maintaining high standards in our laboratory environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate lab equipment to test finished products and components, ensuring they meet specified parameters.
- Perform multiple process checks throughout the production, packaging, and warehousing functions.
- Set up and calibrate HPLC and GC testing equipment.
- Receive, document, and analyze batch testing results for clients into specified systems.
- Communicate and report quality results to supervisors and managers.
- Conduct physical property testing using various instrumentation.
- Provide independent oversight of lab processes to verify compliance with company standards and policies.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in Chemistry, HPLC, GC, GMP, Quality Assurance, and Quality Control.Experience with biochemical processes, pipetting, and dilutions.Strong laboratory skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related life science field is highly preferred.If not, at least 2 years of experience in a production or quality lab setting.Experience with HPLC / GC is highly preferred.High School diploma required.Work Environment
This position operates on the 2nd shift from 3 : 00 PM to 11 : 30 PM, Monday through Friday, with some Saturday coverage during peak season (March-May). Initial training will occur on the 1st shift for approximately 8 weeks.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.75 / hr.
