A company is looking for a Remote Ophthalmology Utilization Review Contractor (1099). Key Responsibilities Review Prior Authorizations for treatment using accepted medical and healthcare plan guidelines Provide expert, unbiased assessments ensuring compliance with ERISA / DOL and state regulations Work flexibly, completing cases that typically take 30-60 minutes, for a total of 1-2 hours per week Required Qualifications Must be an MD or DO Must be Board Certified in Ophthalmology Must have 5 years of patient care experience, including residency Must have an unrestricted state medical license in Indiana or an active IMLC license Must be a US Citizen or hold a Green Card
