Restaurant Manager

The General Manager will be responsible for all day-to-day activities within the store, including employee management, scheduling, ordering and maximizing inventory, and customer satisfaction. The General Manager will also be responsible for hiring and training new employees, as well as their career developments such as performance reviews, goal setting, and promotions.

The General Manager is expected to have a strong understanding of every job duty and responsibility in the store and will work with the Owners to push out new items, work special events, and continue growth and development in the community. The General Manager will lead by example, with quality, cleanliness, and attitude.

Responsibilities :

• Full comprehension of all job duties in the store
• Ensuring employees are fully trained and understand the menu
• Scheduling employee shifts
• Keeping track and ordering inventory
• Hiring and training new employees
• Maintaining cleanliness of the store
• Responsible for getting shifts covered for an absent team member
• Working closely with Assistant Managers / shift leads to ensure food quality and excellent customer service
• Fulfilling catering orders, large deliveries, and participating in community events
• Working with Owners to ensure the store is maintaining food and labor cost goals
• Taking notice of corrective action whenever a team member does not meet Toastique standards
• Ensuring all in-store signage is up to date and all employee resources are current
• Constant communication with the Owners to ensure the store is successful
