As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will be an integral part of our engineering team, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing advanced fire alarm systems. You will be tasked with ensuring the safety of various establishments by making sure their fire alarm systems are in optimal working condition. This is a permanent, full-time position that requires a deep understanding of fire alarm systems and a strong commitment to safety protocols. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate expertise in NICET, Intrusion Detection, Alarm Installs, and fire sprinkler systems.

Responsibilities :

1. Install, maintain, and repair various types of fire alarm systems in commercial and residential buildings.

2. Conduct regular inspections and tests of fire alarm systems to ensure they are functioning properly.

3. Troubleshoot and identify faults or malfunctions in fire alarm systems and take necessary corrective actions.

4. Provide technical advice and support to clients on fire alarm systems, including guiding them on the proper use and maintenance.

5. Keep up-to-date with the latest fire safety standards and regulations and ensure all installations and repairs are compliant.

6. Prepare detailed reports on each inspection, installation, or repair job, highlighting any potential issues and the actions taken.

7. Work closely with other members of the engineering team to design and implement comprehensive fire safety systems.

8. Participate in regular training and professional development activities to enhance your skills and stay current with industry trends.

Qualifications :

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Fire Alarm Technician or a similar role in the engineering industry.

2. Proficiency in fire alarm systems, including Fire Alarm, NICET, Intrusion Detection, and Alarm Installs.

3. Extensive knowledge of fire sprinkler systems.

4. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex fire alarm systems.

5. Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical clients.

6. A strong commitment to safety and adherence to fire safety regulations and standards.

7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

8. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.

9. Relevant certification in fire alarm systems or a related field is preferred.
