Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position in California requiring a CA RN license, prior travel experience, and advanced cardiac nursing skills.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a hospital-based Cath Lab setting
  • Day shift schedule with four 10-hour shifts from 8 : 00 to 18 : 30 and variable start times
  • Patient care involves both diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures
  • May float to other departments, units, or nearby facilities within a 75-mile radius during the assignment
  • Must possess comprehensive knowledge of diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac catheterization and EP procedures, including sterile technique and equipment operation
  • Prior teaching hospital experience preferred
  • May be reassigned to different units or departments if needed
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and booster or appointment is mandatory for consideration

  • Current CA RN license
  • AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
  • Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology experience required
  • Minimum 3-5 years of combined experience in PACU, ICU, CCU, and / or Cath Lab required
  • Minimum 5 years of clinic nursing experience required
  • Must have prior travel nurse experience within the last 12 months
  • COVID-19 vaccination and booster required, with documentation
