Location: Manhattan Beach, California
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility required
Compensation: $28 per hour (negotiable up to $30 per hour for highly qualified candidates); 45 hours guaranteed per week

Start Date: Immediate, with the expectation to continue through the arrival of a second child in mid-July
Responsibilities:
Provide attentive and nurturing care for an almost 2-year-old child
Assist with newborn care upon the arrival of the second child in July
Plan and engage in age-appropriate developmental activities
Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks for the children
Perform light housekeeping duties during the toddler’s nap times, including tidying play areas, children’s laundry, and maintaining cleanliness of children’s spaces
Safely transport children to activities, appointments, and outings as needed
Requirements:
Proven experience caring for toddlers and newborns
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for transporting children
Strong understanding of child development stages and age-appropriate activities
Ability to commit to a long-term position
Excellent communication and organizational skills
CPR and First Aid certification preferred
