Location : Grundy, Virginia

Position Type : Locum Tenens Hospitalist

Pay Rate : $210 / hour

Schedule : 7 on / 7 off starting November 2025

Coverage : 7 AM 7 PM onsite + night pager call (7 PM 7 AM) rarely called back in

Escape the high-volume chaos and enjoy a relaxed, well-supported hospitalist assignment in the scenic heart of southwest Virginia . This is a low-census , low-acuity role perfect for a reliable and experienced Hospitalist seeking consistent blocks of work.

Start Date : Early November 2025

Daily Census : 9 10 patients

Night Admissions : 1 (pager call only no onsite return expected)

ICU Patients : Typically 1 2 on service

️ APP Coverage : None

Procedures Required : None

Preferred Skills : Intubations & central lines (not mandatory)

️ EMR : MediTech

What You ll Receive :

$210 / hr (malpractice included in rate)

Night call : pager-only

H oliday pay

All travel, lodging, and malpractice covered

Clean 7 on / 7 off schedule

Requirements (No Exceptions) :

️ Board Certified REQUIRED

️ Active VA License

️ Available 7 on / 7 off REQUIRED

️ ACLS / BLS Current

️ Fully COVID vaccinated

️ Clean background & malpractice history
