Overview
As a dishwasher / porter you will be tasked with replenishing items, helping to unload supplies from deliveries and preparing cooking sites. An important function in this role is ensuring a kitchen’s compliance with all food procedures and safety regulations. Success in this position will be exhibited by prioritizing tasks that significantly impact customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Ability to execute assigned tasks with precision and speed
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
- Prior work experience in kitchen or cleaning roles
- Excellent time management skills
- Able to stand and move for long periods
Responsibilities
Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and / or pans and place in proper storage areaTransfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucksClean garbage cans with water and bleachMaintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly conditionSupports other staff members when neededStows away and polishes dishes, cutlery and cookwareMaintains chemical levels and temperatures to comply with safety measuresTransfers equipment and supplies from storage to work area
