Travel Nursing Job Details Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Location : Reno, Nevada (Zip : 89502) – Nevada nursing jobs Facility : Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU), Level II Trauma Center Start Date : November 2, 2025 End Date : January 31, 2026 Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 3x12 hour day shifts (06 : 45 - 19 : 15) Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary : $1780 - $1910 Holiday Requirements : Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays Call Requirements : None Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of IMC / Stepdown nursing experience required Medical ICU or Neuro ICU experience preferred Active Nevada RN license (required prior to start) BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Clinical proficiency with vasopressors, titratable drips, arterial lines, neuro-stepdown patients, procedural sedation, thrombolytics, and tracheostomy management Ability to pass ECG / Telemetry exam (reading / interpreting rhythm strips) Willingness to float to other hospital units as needed Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality patient care using the nursing process : assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation Manage care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients with complex cardiac and neurological conditions Monitor and administer advanced therapies, including vasopressors, titratable drips, and thrombolytics Perform and interpret ECG / Telemetry rhythm strips Provide procedural sedation and manage tracheostomies Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure patient-centered care Float to other units within competency level as needed Maintain high standards of clinical excellence and exceptional customer service Apply now to join our healthcare team and take the next step in your travel nursing career in Reno, Nevada!
