Description :

The home health Physical Therapist Assistant will provide rehabilitation services in a home care setting.

The clinician will work with a ratio of 1 : 6 patients.

The role requires skills in cardiopulmonary management, geriatrics, medical-surgical care, and orthopedics.

Experience with adaptive devices, AROM / AAROM / PROM, and patient education is essential.

Job responsibilities include assessment, pain management, and safety training for patients.

The clinician must demonstrate proficiency with a range of assistive devices such as gait belts and walkers.

Knowledge of total hip and knee replacements, and home exercise programs is necessary.

The position involves scheduling appointments, ordering supplies, and following up on patient progress.

A focus on skin integrity, vital signs monitoring, and medication oversight is required.

Candidates should possess effective time management capabilities.
