Metadata Specialist (Health IT Documentation) – Senior SME / Lead

Designs and governs metadata schemas and controlled vocabularies for the client’s documentation repositories, enabling consistent tagging, version traceability, and cross-system search.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and manage XML / JSON metadata standards for ICDs, workflows, and system artifacts.
  • Implement metadata mapping and lineage across repositories.
  • Collaborate with technical leads to ensure schema alignment with FHIR and HL7 standards.

Required Expertise

  • 10+ years in metadata or knowledge engineering.
  • Mandatory : Health IT experience with HL7, FHIR, or healthcare data systems.
  • Proven experience with schema design, ontology development, and documentation modernization programs.

    • Tech & Tooling

    Oxygen XML, Protégé, JSON Schema, Excel validators, SharePoint, GitHub

    Work Model : Remote; occasional travel (1–2 site visits). Duration : Nov 6, 2025 – Feb 28, 2026
