Truck Driver / Operator

The Truck Driver / Operator will load and unload materials and deliver to, from, and within work sites as required. The trucks vary from 30-ton to 100-ton Articulated and end-dump trucks. Larger equipment is also possible.

Experience Level : We are willing to train but equipment experience is strongly preferred.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

• Operate medium to large sized off-road trucks, transporting materials between company work sites using private roads.
• Obtain proper and complete documentation prior to moving materials.
• Collect delivery instructions from appropriate sources, verifying instructions and routes.
• Perform pre-shift / pre-trip and post-shift / post-trip vehicle safety inspections and report any defects, damage, or repairs needed.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as adding oil, fuel, or fluids.
• Maintain logs of working hours, or of vehicle maintenance, following applicable state / federal regulations and company / site standards.
