About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse

License : Valid Nursing License required.
Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIH required.
Must-Have :
- Epic experience required.
- Previous Charge RN experience preferred.
- Trauma Level II experience preferred.
Description :
Mandatory questionnaire required for submission.
Candidates must be aware of the job requirements and responsibilities.
Candidates should be flexible with scheduling.
There is a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences.
Candidates must complete compliance on time.
The compliance deadline is 12 Noon EST the Wednesday prior to the start date.
All RNs are required to pass an EKG exam during compliance.
Candidates are allowed two attempts at the Pass / Fail requirement.
Study material for the exam is not provided.
Working in the Emergency Room involves a fast-paced environment.
Candidates will manage various patient diagnoses, including Stroke and Cardiac cases.
The role requires working with interdisciplinary support teams.
Expectations include maintaining a patient ratio of 4-5.
Additional skills include arterial line management, blood product administration, and IV care.
Candidates should also be prepared for possible float assignments.
Weekend shifts are required, with two weekend shifts or four weekend days per six weeks.
Holidays will be scheduled as needed.
No call is required for this position.
Candidates must possess strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
Teamwork and communication abilities are essential in this setting.
