Job descriptionEvaluate patients to determine functional abilities and areas for improvement in daily living, work, and leisure activities. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote independence and enhance quality of life. Utilize evidence-based techniques and adaptive equipment to improve fine motor skills, coordination, and sensory processing. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team—including Physical Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, and other professionals—to deliver comprehensive care. Educate patients, caregivers, and families on therapeutic exercises, adaptive strategies, and home programs. Maintain detailed, timely documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational standards. Participate in continuing education and mentorship to stay current on best practices in occupational therapy. Current Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility) in the state of South Dakota. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. Competitive compensation and benefits package.
