Summary :
Reporting to the Vice President of Finance and serving as an integral member of the management team of for the Distribution Group, the Accounting Manager will be responsible for all financial activities as well as contributing to the development of the organization's strategic goals. This is an outstanding opportunity for a finance professional with operational experience and a proven track record of high performance and continuous improvement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Promotes the Company's mission and values-based culture through leading a geographically distributed diverse finance team in achieving the Corporate and Group strategic goals
- Planning, directing, and coordinating all accounting and finance functions within the group; including, but not limited to, monthly closings, internal financial results packages, key metric reports and capital expenditure tracking
- Managing the budget and forecasting processes
- Working with senior management to drive performance toward strategic goals
- Analyze data in order to make strategic decisions about an organization's future
- Manages Cash Flow and Working Capital
- Ensure compliance within accounting, audit, tax and other regulatory matters
- Lead Information system projects to improve business system processes, system driven information analysis, and system consolidations
- Other duties may be assigned by Manager

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required. (MBA and / or CPA / CMA preferred)5+ years' accounting / finance experience in distribution company and or construction companyStrong accounting background that includes project accounting and sales metrics reportingSix Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or similar experience a plusKnowledge and experience with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Travel :
Travel is required to the business units from time to time to assist with financials, audits, research and implementation of process improvements, and other projects as neededMinimum travel is approximately 20-30%Computer Skills :
Demonstrated high proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access for analytics and presentationsExperience in ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics D365 Preferred)Experience in PowerBI and / or other reporting dashboards is preferredOther Skills and Requirements :

Education
Bachelors of Accounting (required)
Experience
Knowledge and experience with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) (preferred)
Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or similar experience a plus (preferred)
Strong accounting background that includes project accounting and sales metrics reporting (preferred)
5 years : 5+ years' accounting / finance experience in distribution company and or construction company (required)
