Role Overview :

The Warehouse Team Lead is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations and leading a team focused on safe, compliant, and efficient material handling in a cGMP environment. This role ensures alignment with Veranova’s core values—safety, collaboration, integrity, and continuous improvement—while maintaining compliance with all regulatory and company standards.

The Team Lead drives operational excellence by optimizing processes, building team capability, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Core Responsibilities :

  • Lead, coach, and develop warehouse personnel to build a high-performing, safety-focused, and quality-driven team, serving as a role model for Veranova’s leadership behaviors : accountability, teamwork, and respect.
  • Promote open communication and collaboration across departments (Production, Quality, Planning, and Procurement) to ensure smooth material flow and timely issue resolution.
  • Conduct daily tier meetings to align team priorities with site production and shipping schedules.
  • Ensure all warehouse operations comply with cGMP, GDP, DEA, OSHA, and environmental regulations, and maintain adherence to SOPs, training requirements, and documentation standards.
  • Support internal and external audits and participate in corrective and preventive action (CAPA) programs, championing a “right-first-time” culture emphasizing documentation accuracy and traceability.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve warehouse layout, workflows, and material flow to enhance safety, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Lead or participate in Lean / 5S / Kaizen initiatives to reduce waste, optimize space utilization, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Track and analyze warehouse KPIs—including inventory accuracy, on-time delivery, order fulfillment, and deviation rate—and implement improvement actions.
  • Partner with management to develop training plans, cross-training programs, and skill matrices to support team flexibility and capability growth.

Qualifications : Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of warehouse or materials management experience.
  • Demonstrated understanding of cGMP, GDP, and regulatory compliance in a pharmaceutical or controlled manufacturing environment.
  • Proven leadership ability with strong communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience using ERP / WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality.
  • Forklift certification and hands-on material handling experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Proven project and change management expertise, with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop people through organizational change and drive behavioral change.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, energize, and guide teams.
  • Comfortable thriving in conditions of change and complexity.
  • Strong analytical and qualitative skills.
  • Consistently delivers outstanding results, takes initiative, and drives action proactively.
  • Salary Range : $80,000 - $88,000 annual base salary
