About The Position

License : South Carolina or Multi-State / Compact State RN License

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

Must-Have : PCU / Stepdown experience

Description :

Position specialty : PCU RN Neuroscience.

Ratios 1 : 3-1 : 4, based on acuity.

Will work 3x12 hour nights from 7 PM to 7 : 30 AM with holidays as needed.

Weekend requirement : 4-5 weekend shifts in a 4-week period as needed.

No call requirements.

Clinician may float within scope to meet facility needs.

First-timers accepted.

Open to accommodating block schedule upon manager's approval and dependent on unit's needs.

Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Attendance policy is the same as for permanent staff.

Travelers must adhere to the same attendance policy as permanent staff.

All weekend callouts require a makeup shift where unit has a need.

Holiday callouts require a doctor's note.

Each callout is subject to consideration for cancellation.

Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams.

Hurricane season runs from June through November each year.

Peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.

Travel compliance requirements include documentation due at time of application.

Previous permanent staff must be separated from the system for one year before returning as travelers.

Priority given to candidates with active South Carolina license and proof of application for those pending.
