Travel Cath Lab Tech - $2,308 per week in Amarillo, TX

Job Title : Cath Lab Tech Profession : Radiology / Cardiology Specialty : Cath Lab Tech Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day Hours per Shift : 12 hours (07 : 00 - 19 : 00) Experience : Minimum 2 years of experience required License : Required Certifications : ACLS, BLS, ARRT R, CCI RCIS Must-Have : Epic experience within the last 6 months is required Travel experience is preferred Description : The Cath Lab Tech will work three 12-hour shifts during the day. Call is required during weeknights from 19 : 00 to 07 : 00 and weekends from 07 : 00 to 19 : 00. Candidates must have 2 years of experience in a cath lab environment. Experience with Epic EMR is preferred. Certifications required include ACLS, ARRT R, BLS, and CCI RCIS. Skills needed include diagnostic cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiac catheterization. Other essential skills include cardiac implant closure device placement, cardiac stent placement, and IABP placement / removal. The Cath Lab Tech should be capable of interpreting dysrhythmias and performing left and right heart catheterizations. Experience with percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA), and rotablader atherectomy is essential. The candidate should be familiar with sterile technique and maintaining a sterile field. The role includes responsibilities such as equipment setup, scrub procedures, and recognizing life-threatening arrhythmias. It is important to work collaboratively and support interdisciplinary efforts. Candidates must be flexible with a willingness to work on holidays as needed.
