Lactalis American Group, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Quality Documentation Specialist Intern based in Buffalo, NY.

The Quality Assurance Intern will have the responsibility to manage the documentation upload and update in LAG customers and suppliers' portals within the Quality Assurance Department. This department is responsible for the technical data for the many various dairy products manufactured by LAG division for the entire USA and as well as countries around the world. The Quality Documentation Specialist Intern will support a team of QA professionals with daily administrative tasks in the QA department. The internship is a full-time position for one year, and is based out of Buffalo, NY.

From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key responsibilities for this position include :

• Manage customers' portals as needed : Upload customer requests such as 3rd party audit information, customer specific audits, customer specific letters, info such as code dates, packaging, case labels, nutritional info, ingredient listings, food safety documents, kosher / halal certificates, questionnaires, etc.
• Organize and validate with hierarchy the responses to customer special requests based on QA policies.
• Manage the data collection process with LAG suppliers to fulfill QA supplier policies in Lactalis Portal software.
• Assure that documentation collected and required by Lactalis QA policies is current and accurate.
• Ensure appropriate authorization is obtained for spec requests and facilitate the circulation of the prepared document for approval; make official spec readily available.
• Prepare progress reports for suppliers and customers upload data in the documentation portals.
